What is CBD oil?

Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances Act, 1985 (NDPS Act) never outlawed the use of cannabis extracts from leaves for medicinal purposes. In fact, the NDPS Act,1985 empowers the state governments to issue licenses for the cultivation of cannabis for medical and industrial usages. In the year in 2015, the state of Uttarakhand became the first Indian state to allow the cultivation of hemp or Cannabis Sativa.

Many companies are coming up online from where you can buy cannabis extracts and their products in India for medical and therapeutic purposes. Besides, NDPS Act, 1985 does not apply to the leaves and seeds of the cannabis plant when plucked or separated from the fruiting top of the plant. Cannabis oil, which is sold within India, are extracted from cannabis leaves, making it completely legal.
